"Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :) have to finish out my contract," Jillian wrote on December 7.
In stepping away from the show, which she has been with since the beginning -- except for a brief absence from 2006-2007, Jillian said she is looking forward to focusing more on her personal life - and starting a family.

"I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work," she wrote in a subsequent Tweet.
In fact, Jillian hinted that a child might already be in the works.
"It's scary. I haven't even met this little person & I'm already talking about my fear of messing them up in therapy," the 36-year-old trainer wrote in another Tweet.

In an interview with Women's Health in May 2010, Jillian revealed she planned to become a mom through adoption.
"I'm going to adopt. I can't handle doing that to my body," she told the mag at the time, when asked if she'd ever consider having children.

"The Biggest Loser" host Allison Sweeney said she wishes nothing but the best for her co-star.
"I love Jill. She's an amazing trainer and an amazing person," Allison told Zap2It.com on Friday. "I want her to be happy. I want what's best for her."
As far as her thoughts on Jillian becoming a mom, Allison said she thinks the fitness guru will be great.
"I think that's so awesome," Allison added. "She has always been so funny about my kids and I think she'd be an awesome, awesome parent. She's going to be great."
In addition to her work on "The Biggest Loser," alongside fellow pro trainer Bob Harper, Jillian launched her own spin-off series in June 2010 on NBC called "Losing It With Jillian."
In fact, it was her work on her spin-off which cemented the idea of becoming a mom, Jillian said.
"Shooting Losing It also had big impact on me," she Tweeted. "Living with kids I saw first hand what I was missing."
As for her replacement, Jillian said NBC has already found her - although she wouldn't say who.
"They already hired her. Using my last season to help launch her in Season 11," she added.
